Cuisinart Blenders

The Cuisinart Corporation was founded by Carl and Shirley Sontheimer. At that time, Carl was the owner of the Amzac Electronics and was a trained engineer and physicist. After he sold the company in 1967, he decided to merge his interest in electronics and his love of cooking. Thus, the Cuisinart Corporation was conceived.

It is while visiting a house ware show in France in 1971 that they (Carl and Shirley) got inspired to develop home versions or restaurant machines used for food preparation. Aside from manufacturing home versions of these machines, Carl strived to improve and refine their designs – enhancing components and initiating safety features in line with the U.S codes and standards for safety.

Today, the Cuisinart line of kitchen appliances is one of the best known, especially in America. Blenders from Cuisinart are noted for their sleek designs, powerful motors, large food container capacity, and versatility in the kitchen.
